Everything you need to know about getting food assistance

Getting Food Assistance

Simply come by the pantry during our open hours—no appointment needed! On your first visit, you'll complete a brief registration form and provide proof of residence.

Yes, you'll need to show proof of residence. This can be a valid state-issued ID (driver's license, SNAP card, etc.) or a piece of mail that has your current name and address on it. You'll also need to complete an attestation form for TEFAP eligibility.

We offer food assistance to anyone who lives within our service area, including surrounding areas within the district boundaries.

If you live outside our service area, please use your local food pantry. You can find one near you by visiting 211.org or calling 211.

Eligible residents can visit the food pantry up to 2 times per month. This helps us ensure we can serve all families in need while providing meaningful assistance.

Yes, you can pick up food for another household. You'll need to have completed registration forms and proof of address for the household you're picking up for.

Eligibility & Requirements

An attestation is a form required by the USDA that needs to be completed by the client and kept on file at the pantry. It verifies your eligibility for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) based on receiving other assistance (like SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, etc.) or meeting income guidelines.

You don't need to bring pay stubs or tax returns. The attestation form is a self-declaration of eligibility based on participation in other assistance programs or meeting income guidelines. We trust you to provide accurate information.

No appointment is necessary! Simply come during our open hours.

All data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase), with servers in the United States. Google Cloud provides enterprise-grade security, automatic backups, encryption, and redundancy. It is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Access is controlled by role-based security rules, so staff members only see data relevant to their role. We never share organization data with third parties.
